Due to COVID-19, the annual in-person awards show was moved entirely online with all of the production for the online presentation done in-house to save on costs. The online awards show broadcast to Facebook and YouTube as "live" videos (everything was pre-recorded to avoid technical issues). The inaugural online awards show 600 people watching it concurrently across Facebook and YouTube (with very active comments and celebrations) and a reach of over 14,000 impressions. This was the first of our large online events that set the bar for the association’s online events going forward.
