It’s a colorful world out there.

I came to strategic communication directly, but stumbled into design by accident. With a background in music, I wanted to find a way to be a professional advocate for the arts and this led me to public relations. I’ve been lucky to work with a variety of non-profit arts organizations and translate those experiences into work with other non-profits (and also a few for profits!).
I discovered my love for graphic design in a roundabout way. As a teenager, I would create posters for high school theater shows, designed CD and cassette covers for my mix tapes, and once even created a brochure to invite family friends to join us on a vacation. To this day some of my favorite design inspirations come from magazines and brochure from the 1960s and 1970s that we kept in our travel camper—the composition and copy is even better when you remember that none of it was done on a computer!
I am a writer, a designer, and an organizer who takes pride in looking at the whole picture and seeing angles that no one has taken into consideration yet. Calm under pressure, I am the person you want on your side.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog and traveling to locations new and familiar. You can also expect quite a few dad jokes and puns.
